Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations
Parents often have to wait months before they can get an appointment for a diagnostic evaluation for their child. They may suspect something is not right with their child’s development and behavior. Having to wait for answers can be anxiety-provoking.
At Behavioral Support Partnership, diagnostic evaluations are typically completed within four weeks of the initial request. Our licensed Psychologist and BSP clinical team work together to provide a comprehensive assessment of your child’s behavior and skills. Our evaluation includes an interview with parents, observations of your child, behavioral checklists, and the ADOS diagnostic assessment (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule), which is the gold standard for diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Results of the assessments are written up in a comprehensive diagnostic report which is required by Insurance Providers to authorize and fund ABA services.
