Our Mission
Our goal is to improve the quality of life for families by building skills, facilitating inclusion, ameliorating challenging behaviors and empowering parents. At Behavioral Support Partnership, we believe that each family has a unique story and therefore deserves an individualized approach to ABA treatment. Parent involvement is the key to enduring change and thus our “partnership” with families is critical to our mission.
Behavioral Support Partnership provides individualized assessments and proven, data driven interventions to meet the unique needs of each child and his/her family. We support individuals from one year of age through adulthood who face the challenge of autism and other developmental disabilities.

About Us
Behavioral Support Partnership (BSP) is a well-established and highly respected organization providing Applied Behavior Analysis services throughout Orange County and Los Angeles. We partner with families to improve the lives of children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Each child and family comes to BSP with a unique set of values, behaviors, and experiences and we create individualized treatments based on their needs, cultural values, and family strengths.
BSP was founded in 2005 by Dr. Melissa Sweitzer, a licensed Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities has been Dr. Sweitzer’s guiding force throughout her 30 year career. Her extensive background in mental health and Applied Behavior Analysis, provides a unique perspective to the staff and clients of Behavioral Support Partnership.

Employee of the Month

Daniel Choi
Daniel Choi graduated from California State University of Long Beach with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. Before joining Behavioral Support Partnership’s community, Daniel volunteered as a Sunday School teacher for middle schoolers and highschoolers in Los Angeles. He worked alongside organizations like Long Beach’s BLAST to provide academic and social support to students struggling during the pandemic. During his undergraduate studies, Daniel attended an Autism Spectrum course and began to develop a strong desire to help those struggling to have their voices heard. With a background in Psychology, Daniel is excited to support an individual’s growth, especially when equipping them with critical social tools. While working at Behavioral Support Partnership, Daniel is always seeking new experiences to learn from and improve upon. He is determined to further his academic studies in the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis and will soon begin his M.A. Program in Special Education at Arizona State University. Alongside Behavioral Support Partnership’s passionate staff, he is motivated to promote and maintain a compassionate environment for his clients struggling to articulate their motivations and preferences.
